Presently, Chinese manufacturers basically use vertical sand mill
of more than 1000L. Usually use zirconium silicate beads (65% Zro2
zirconia beads) or zirconia beads ( 95% ZrO3 zirconia beads) as
grinding media.
Vertical sand mills or Horizontal sand mills ( Inner cylinders and
grinding parts are stainless steel (carbon steel): Generally use 65
zirconium silicate beads or 80 zirconium beads (80 zirconium beads
are the best, because the wear amount is lower, grinding More
efficient);
Horizontal sand mills (Inner cylinder and the grinding component
are made of wear-resistant alloy steel, ceramics, etc.): Generally
use Yttria stabilized zirconia beads as grinding media.
